John Cindia of LifeStages Advisory works with closely held businesses, as well as affluent and high net worth individuals in the areas of tax, financial, wealth, insurance, and retirement planning.
John’s breadth of experience has ranged from vice president of marketing for a Fortune 500 insurance company to running his own certified public account (CPA)/financial planning practice for affluent and high net worth clientele since 1984.
John’s practice has always assisted clients with tax-efficient financial planning. In 1994, John became securities and insurance licensed to further assist clients with tax-advantaged retirement planning and tax-efficient investing for wealth accumulation purposes. Since 2000, investment management, retirement, and insurance planning has become a significant area of concern for aging boomers and John has adapted his concentration in these areas to accommodate client needs.
John graduated from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. In 1984, John became a licensed CPA in Ohio and later became licensed in the states of North Carolina and Florida as clients relocated. John studied to obtain the Personal Financial Specialist designation through the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). John has also acquired the Series 6, 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities licenses; and life, health, disability, long-term care, and property/casualty licenses. He also has CPA affiliations with the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA), North Carolina Association of CPAs (NCACPA) and Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), in addition to the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
Sherri obtained her BSBA from the University of Akron. She has over twenty years of experience in public accounting. She specializes in small business accounting and payroll. Sherri also prepares individual, business and estate income tax returns.
Catherine works in the practice as the Office Manager. She is responsible for all client contact, billings, and is the event coordinator for all of our meetings, workshops and client appreciation functions.

Brad works in our Georgia office, which is located at 6530 Wedgewood Chase, Suwanee, GA 30024.
With nearly three decades of experience in the financial planning profession, Brad Burnett brings a well-rounded approach when addressing the needs of his diverse client base. Brad is a “student” of the financial profession, acknowledging that in today’s ever-changing world, continuing education is a must. He maintains several investment/securities related licenses, including the series 6, 7, 26, 63, and 65. In addition, he holds life, health, accident and variable insurance licenses, as well as a real estate license. This breadth of experience affords Brad the opportunity to explore a multitude of financial offerings when addressing the varying needs of his clients.
Brad draws upon his education when crafting individualized financial plans for his clients, who include retirees, business owners, and parents of students who are seeking strategic college planning guidance. Brad has had the privilege of speaking at numerous educational sessions throughout the United States and Canada on topics ranging from college planning for parents of high school students to retirees facing concerns about outliving their income. His core planning belief is simple – “a more educated client is better equipped to make smarter decisions about their personal financial situation.”
Prior to starting Freedom Financial Services, Brad was in the corporate world playing a vital role on the executive management team. He also owned his own accounting and tax practice. He draws upon his experience from the tax world when looking at his client’s plans, focusing not just on what you make, but also what you get to keep.
While Brad is a native son to Michigan, he has resided in the Atlanta, Georgia area since 1985. He is an active member of the Knights of Columbus and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). Brad resides with his wife in Suwanee, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. They have two married daughters and four grandchildren who also live in the Atlanta area.
